EXPONENTIAL ORGANIZATIONS (ExO)

Nowadays, building an Exponential Organization (ExO) has become such a doable task that it is even a formula:

ExO = MTP + I. D. E. A. S.  + S.C.A.L.E.

You are already familiar with the MTP, and in this chapter, you are going to learn the rest of the formula to build an ExO. But remember that before trying to build any ExO, you must become an Exponential Entrepreneur. (ExE) The formula looks similar, but it’s fundamentally different. The only common factor is the MTP. To avoid confusion, let me refresh your mind with the ExE formula.

ExE = MTP + P.L.E.A.S.E.D. + D.I.S.R.U.P.T.

I. D. E. A. S.  & S.C.A.L.E. are the acronyms that quickly identify the 10 attributes that characterize Exponential Organizations.

There are a total of 11 attributes delineated in the “Exponential Organizations” book. However, out of all these attributes, the one that is always present is the MTP. (Massive Transformative Purpose) It’s the common denominator to all the exponential enterprises involved in the study.

The other 10 attributes were only present following market requirements for each corporation. So, you need to pick up at least a couple of ExO attributes for each of the I. D. E. A. S.  & S. C. A.L. E groups in the ExO formula. However, if you are starting a brand new business you should try to apply as many attributes as possible.

The great news is that Salim Ismail’s book showed that only 4 attributes are necessary to build an ExO.

The companies applying more than 4 attributes tend to grow faster, but many businesses were experiencing exponential growth with just the application of only a few of these attributes”
